Runs in a web browser, per the vendor's own site (checked 2026-10-18). The FAQ says it can be used on Windows, Mac and Linux; that is through the browser, so only Web is listed. Forex Tester (desktop) is a separate Windows product. Source (opens in new tab)

Browser-based backtesting platform with a built-in trading journal; covers forex, stocks, crypto and futures. No free plan: the $0 option is an email-only demo the vendor calls a way to "try before you buy" (1 month of data per symbol, projects can't be saved).
