Privacy policy

The short version: you can use TraderToolStack without an account and without giving us any personal information. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and the site sets no advertising or social-media trackers. The only personal information we get is what you choose to send us: your email address if you sign up for the newsletter, and whatever you type into the submit form.
Visiting the site
- Hosting (Cloudflare). The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives the technical details every web request carries, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for, so it can deliver the page and protect the site from abuse.
- Visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics). Pages load a small Cloudflare Web Analytics script that counts page views, the page you came from, browser and device type, country and how fast pages load. It does not set cookies, and we only see totals, not individual visitors.
- Cookies. TraderToolStack itself sets no cookies.
- Light or dark theme. If you use the theme button, your choice ("light" or "dark") is saved in your browser's local storage so the next page opens the same way. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
- Fonts and outside code. The site uses fonts already on your device and loads no fonts from outside services. The only outside scripts are the Cloudflare and Beehiiv ones described on this page.
Newsletter (Beehiiv)
The signup form on the home page, the newsletter page and tool pages is provided by Beehiiv and loads from Beehiiv's servers, so Beehiiv receives the usual request details when the form loads and may use its own cookies. If you subscribe, your email address is stored by Beehiiv, and Beehiiv sends the emails for us. We use your address only to send the newsletter. Beehiiv may record whether an email was opened or a link was clicked.
To unsubscribe, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email.
Submit form (FormSubmit)
The submit form is sent through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which emails the submission to us. It contains what you enter: the type of submission, the tool name, URL and category, your notes and, only if you choose to give it, your email address. FormSubmit may show a check to stop spam before it sends the form on. We use submissions only to add or correct listings, and your email address only to reply to you.
Links to other sites
Links to tool vendors take you to their own websites, where their own privacy policies apply. Some of these links can earn us a commission (see our affiliate disclosure): they include a referral code so the vendor can tell you came from TraderToolStack, and the vendor or its affiliate service may set its own cookies to record that referral. We don't receive your personal information from vendors.
Who we share data with
We don't sell, rent or trade personal information. The only services that handle data for the site are the ones named above: Cloudflare (hosting and visitor statistics), Beehiiv (newsletter) and FormSubmit (submit form).
